Last week we saw Aio Wireless become available nationwide, giving everyone the chance to sign up for prepaid service and hop onto AT&T’s growing 4G LTE network. It looks like Aio is no longer the only game in the prepaid AT&T LTE town, though, as Straight Talk now has access to the big blue carrier’s LTE service.

A quick visit to the SIM card section of Straight Talk’s online shop shows that the prepaid operator is now selling AT&T LTE-compatible SIMs in both mini and micro varieties. Each SIM card’s product page now sports a little “4G LTE” logo and says that, when stuck inside an AT&T LTE-compatible device, users can “keep 4G LTE speeds.” The SIM cards are priced at $6.99 apiece.

Straight Talk offers a $45 per month plan with its AT&T SIM cards that includes unlimited talk, text and data, though the provider notes in its Terms and Conditions that it reserves the right to reduce data speeds for excessive or unauthorized use of its service, which includes tethering. For that reason, Straight Talk may not be a great fit for super heavy data users. If you believe that you’ve got a light to normal data appetites, though, Straight Talk’s combination of AT&T LTE service and a $45 unlimited plan may be worth checking out.
