Final Destination 5 director Steven Quale is set to helm Voltage Pictures’ shark thriller Alphas based on a screenplay by Frank Hannah.
The story sees a school of great white sharks terrorize a coastal town and their only hope is a damaged killer whale who has been in solitary confinement for years after killing its trainer.
Nicolas Chartier, Pierre Morel, Renee Tab and Christopher Tuffin will produce.
Voltage recently released Wind River and is in production on the Jessica Chastain-led Eve.
