The intense and chaotic multiplayer-driven title Starwhal is soon arriving on the Wii U eShop in North America, with developer Breakfall today announcing the title will be making a splash on September 24.
The Wii U version of Starwhal will include an exclusive new 5 player mode. This mode titled “Blastopus” involves players fighting against each other, and adds a fifth player to the action with the assistance of the Wii U GamePad. This extra person takes on the role of the Blastopus and is tasked with dropping bombs on the narwhals below.
In addition to the GamePad support, Starwhal caters to the Wii Remote and Pro Controller. There are also themed costumes including both Mario and Mega Man-inspired designs as well as a stack of single player challenges to experience. Take a look at the trailer and exclusive Wii U game mode below.
