Sony will soon begin selling its NXT range of smartphones as unlocked devices in the US. The line-up is made up of the Xperia U, Xperia S and Xperia P. Buyers will be capable of picking them up in Sony stores and online at Newegg and other online retailers. The unlocked Xperia S and Xperia P supports 850, 900, 1,900, and 2,100MHz bands while the Xperia U gets 850, 1,900, and 2,100MHz bands, making them suitable for AT&T’s networks and its subsidiaries.
The suggested retail price for the Xperia S is $560, which is available in black or white. The Xperia P is officially priced at $480 and it’s available at silver, red, and black, while the smallest Xperia U in either black or white costs $300. Online prices are significantly lower, however.
