Sneak Peak of What Will Be In Diskeeper 2011

Diskeeper has announced some of the new features which will be Diskeeper 2011 for Windows.

The software now contains two unique technologies closely married together to achieve greater system performance: one to prevent up to 85% of fragmentation before it ever happens—an industry first—and the other to swiftly and instantly handle any additional fragments which affect system speed and reliability.

All systems suffer from the effects of fragmentation which can cause slow system performance, system crashes, slowdowns, freeze-ups and system failures.  The hard drive still remains the weakest link in system performance making the need for defragmentation more relevant than ever before.

Technology in Diskeeper 2011

  • IntelliWrite: The revolutionary fragmentation prevention technology first introduced in Diskeeper 2010, intelligently writes files to the disk to prevent up to 85 percent of fragmentation from occurring before it even happens.
  • New Instant Defrag:  New advanced defragmentation engine that immediately eliminates fragmentation that is not proactively prevented by IntelliWrite.  Diskeeper 2011 intelligently monitors newly created fragments and then runs Instant Defrag to remove the fragmentation that is degrading system performance. Rather than waiting for fragmentation to build up, Instant Defrag provides uninterrupted peak system performance and reliability.
  • New Efficient Mode: This highly efficient new defrag algorithm offers the most net gain in system I/O resource savings ever available. It is smart enough to know what fragmentation is a problem and what isn’t, and handles only fragmentation that directly affects system performance.

New Diskeeper 2011 enables makes computer systems faster, more reliable, longer lived, and energy efficient.
