Skype After Developer with Xbox Focus

The Skype team is looking to bolster its ranks by posting a job listing which references the Xbox gaming console. Based in its London office, the position tells little about exactly how the video, voice, and text chat service will integrate into the platform hasn’t been revealed. The Software Development Engineer will contribute to the development of experiences on Xbox, the listing reads.

It’s also seeking an individual with technical experience on developing client and/or embedded software. It’s likely Microsoft will integrate the service into its Kinect hardware, which has a built-in speaker, microphone, and camera to allow for the service’s full breadth of features.

Microsoft bought Skype last year for $8.5 billion
