Skype has updated its iPhone app with new features that take advantage of iOS 4 capabilities. Users no longer have to Skype active to receive calls and IMs. Users can even continue a call while switching to another app.
Skype for iPhone is now available as a free download on the app store. Users can make free Skype-to-Skype calls over Wi-Fi or 3G. The multitasking functionality is only supported through iOS 4 on the iPhone 4 or iPhone 3GS.
