According to The Hollywood Reporter, Screen Gems has lined up actress Shay Mitchell (“Pretty Little Liars,” Mother’s Day) to headline the horror thriller Cadaver.
The story follows a disgraced ex-cop/recovering addict (Mitchell) as she takes a graveyard shift position at the same hospital she got sober. Not long after taking the job a brutally murdered corpse is delivered to the morgue and she begins witnessing a series of murders, all leading up to a confrontation with an evil entity.
To be directed by Diederik Van Rooijen (Taped) from a screenplay by Brian Sieve (Boogeyman 2), Cadaver will be produced by Sean Robins and Todd Garner of Broken Road Productions.
