Sena’s New Luxury Leather Cases for iPad 2

Accessory maker Sena has announced three new cases for the iPad 2. All of these are leather, but use substantially different designs.

The most basic is the UltraSlim, a sleeve with a velvet interior lining. The case is, notably, shaped to accommodate iPads equipped with Apple Smart Covers. Black, red, brown, white, green and pewter colors are available.

The Folio also has a velvet lining, but incorporates a lid that snaps shut using a fastener and a strap. Likewise built in is a stand, which allows an iPad to be propped up in three different positions including portrait and landscape views. Pockets can be used to hold smaller objects such as credit cards. Color options are limited to black, orange, red and brown.

The Florence uses a simplified design. Instead of snapping shut, its lid is held in place by tucking a corner into a special pocket. The lid can also be folded back into two positions, for tasks such as typing or watching movies. Colors are identical to those of the Folio.

The UltraSlim should ship on April 15th, followed by the Folio and the Florence on the 22nd. The cases will typically cost $60, $100 and $80, respectively. Pre-orders, however, are eligible for $10 discounts.
