Samsung’s Network Extender Raises the Bars for Verizon Users

Samsung  announced today the availability of the Verizon Wireless Network Extender by Samsung, a femotcell base station for home or home office. Network Extender costs $249.99 and works with  any Verizon Wireless phone through a customer provided broadband Internet connection to improve indoor cellular coverage where location, geography or structural conditions interfere with reception.

“Network Extender is our solution for customers who are in need of enhanced coverage in their home or home office,” said Tom Jasny, vice president of wireless network systems and broadband, Samsung Telecommunications America. “It is compact, simple and convenient and takes just minutes to set up.”

Network Extender, which supports up to three simultaneous calls in an area of up to 5,000 square feet, offers a convenient, plug-and-play installation and works with any broadband Internet (xDSL, Cable Modem or FTTx), Ethernet connection and 110V power.
