Paramount Pictures has released the first poster and featurette for their upcoming Elton John biopic Rocketman starring Taron Egerton.
The clip boasts interviews with director Dexter Fletcher and music producer Giles Martin talking about Egerton’s portrayal of the iconic singer which includes the actor actually singing covers of John’s numbers in his own voice as opposed to lip syncing. Jamie Bell, Richard Madden and Bryce Dallas Howard also star in the film
The story will focus on Elton John’s beginnings, starting when he was a prodigy at the Royal Academy of Music and carrying over to when he reached global stardom.
Rocketman lands in cinemas on May 31st.
