T-Mobile tweeted late today that it would introduce the Rocket 4G USB modem on a prepaid basis for $60. It can access download speeds of up to 21Mbps and, starting April 17, users can choose from a new $30, 1GB option that expires in 30 days from purchase and a $50, 3GB plan with the same time restriction.
The provider currently offers a 100MB, $10 plan that has a lifespan of seven days, 300MB of data for $30 that lasts 30 days, and 1GB of data for $50 under the same lifespan.
The rocket stick can accommodate microSDHC memory cards up to 32GB in capacity.
