Robbie Robertson’s ‘He Don’t Live Here No More’ Is # 1 Most Added at AC Song

“He Don’t Live Here No More,” the lead single from Robbie Robertson’s upcoming album, How To Become Clairvoyant, is #1 Most Added at AC and Triple A radio for the second consecutive week. The track, a riveting firsthand look at the temptations endemic to the rock and roll lifestyle, debuts at 16 on the Triple A Media Base chart and at 20 on the Triple A BDSs chart. It’s already 40 on the AC chart.

Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame

Robertson will be inducted into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame (CSHF) on April 2nd. This marks the first year that the non-profit organization will induct songwriters and their entire body of work. (In past years, the CSHF has inducted specific songs from Canadian songwriters.)

Release Date

How To Become Clairvoyant, which will be released on April 5th by Macro-Biotic Records/429 Records, is Robertson’s first album in more than 10 years and his most personal yet. In the collection’s 12 original songs, he publicly addresses everything from a period of hard living with Martin Scorsese, to strange encounters at the famed Chelsea Hotel, to his historic departure from The Band.

Eric Clapton, Steve Winwood, Trent Reznor, Tom Morello (Rage Against The Machine, Audioslave), and Robert Randolph guest on the album along with vocalists Angela McCluskey, Rocco Deluca, Dana Glover and Taylor Goldsmith (Dawes). Robertson co-produced How To Become Clairvoyant with long-time collaborator Marius de Vries (Massive Attack, Bjork, Rufus Wainwright). Plans for several special editions of How To Become Clairvoyant will be announced shortly.
