Queen will perform at this coming Sunday’s Academy Awards ceremony.
The announcement comes in the wake of the blockbuster success of Bohemian Rhapsody in cinemas. Original guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor along with Adam Lambert.
The film, which has taken in more than $854 million worldwide, is up for multiple awards at the ceremony including Best Picture and Best Actor for Rami Malek’s work as the late Freddie Mercury.
The 91st academy awards will be held Dolby Theatre, Los Angeles, CA on Sun, Feb 24 at 5:00 PM PST. In the US, they will air live on ABC.
