Registration for the DUST 514 beta test, dubbed ‘Mordu’s Private Trials’ has begun, developer CCP has announced.
For now, registration for the PS3 beta is available only to active subscribers of EVE Online, as well as a “pool of participants that we will be using to allow entry into early testing and special events,” says the dev.
CCP refers to active EVE subscribers as “the first” to have access to sign up for the closed beta, suggesting a more public invite will be extended later.
“We’re hugely excited to be able to extend this exclusive opportunity to our player community,” it said.

CPP Games’ senior producer Torfi Frans and DUST producer Thomas Farrer have previously said they feel PS3 is ‘more open’ than Xbox 360 to DUST 514’s tech.
