PARAMOUNT PICTURES LOGOParamount Pictures has taken an original pitch from Marc Haimes for a found footage project called Supermax, says a story at The Hollywood Reporter. There are no plot details as of yet but, based on the title, it’s likely that the story centers around a maximum security prison.

Haimes is also the screenwriter of Paramount’s upcoming family comedy Jitters.

This Supermax, which will be produced by Mary Parent, bears no relation to Warner Bros.’ now-defunct Green Arrow project of the same name, nor to Columbia Pictures’ Supermax, a supernatural thriller set inside a prison.
