Open Road productions has announced that Chef, the Jon Favreau crowd-pleaser will return to theatres on August 29 after the initial early-summer run grossed $29.3m.
Favreau plays a high-class chef who goes back to his roots and opens a food truck. The film premiered at SXSW and opened first on May 9.
The cast includes Robert Downey Jr, Dustin Hoffman, Scarlett Johansson, John Leguizamo, Sofia Vergara, Bobby Cannavale and Oliver Platt.
