Noctua announced three new CPU coolers: the NH-U9S, the NH-D9L, and the NH-D9DX i4 3U. As you might have figured from the 9 in the product names, all three of the coolers feature a 92 mm design.

The NH-U9S is a simple tower-design cooler, which has an asymmetrical design and uses five u-shaped copper heatpipes to transfer the heat from the CPU surface to the aluminum fin array. With a fan installed, it measures 125 mm tall, 95 mm wide and 95 mm deep and weighs 618 grams. The unit is compatible with most modern CPU sockets, including LGA 1150, LGA2011-3, and AMD3+ and FM2+ sockets.

The NH-D9L and the NH-D9DX i4 3U both feature identical heatsinks and fans, but they come with different mounting hardware. They have a dual-tower design, which sandwiches a fan between the two towers and allows it to rest at a lower height, making the units just 110 mm tall. This makes it 3U-compatible. They also come with additional clips and a y-cable to install a second fan.

The NH-D9L is compatible with the same CPU sockets as the NH-U9S, while the NH-D9DX i4 3U comes with different mounting hardware, making it compatible with Square ILM and Narrow ILM LGA 2011 Intel Xeon-based platforms.

The fan that comes installed on all three units is the NF-A9 PWM, which has a 92 mm design, is 25 mm thick, and can spin at speeds ranging from 400 RPM to 2000 RPM. It will push up to 46.4 CFM, make up to 22.8 dBA of noise while doing so, and consume no more than 1.2 W.

Noctua has priced the NH-U9S at $59.90, the NH-D9L at $56.90, and the NH-D9DX i4 3U at $59.90, and they are all being shipped to e-tailers immediately.
