The Ninja Saviors: Return of the Warriors (known as The Ninja Warriors: Once Again in Japan) will launch for Switch via the Nintendo eShop and PlayStation 4 via the PlayStation Store worldwide on July 25, Taito has announced.
In North America and Europe, publisher United Games previously announced plans for a traditional retail physical edition distributed via the publishing label ININ, as well as a limited physical editions sold through Strictly Limited Games. While Strictly Limited Games has already begun taking orders for its limited editions, a release date for the traditional retail edition has yet to be announced.
In Southeast Asia, publisher H2 Interactive will distribute a standard physical edition on the same day as the digital release. It is currently available for pre-order on Play-Asia for PlayStation 4 and Switch for $29.99 with support for English, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, and Korean subtitles.
The Ninja Saviors: Return of the Warriors is a reboot of the Super Nintendo title The Ninja Warriors Again. The classic 2D side-scrolling beat ’em up has been enhanced with new graphics, two new playable characters, a re-recorded soundtrack, two-player local co-op support, and more.
