Bravo released an extended trailer for their first scripted series, Girlfriend’s Guide to Divorce, where “girlfriend” finds out about getting it on outside of marriage.
Based on the Girlfriend’s Guide book series by Vicki Iovine, the show stars Lisa Edelstein as Abby McCarthy, a self-help and family life guru who upends her image by admitting to the world that her perfect home life is a sham.
Separated from husband Jake (Paul Adelstein), McCarthy turns to her divorced friends Lila (Janeane Garofalo) and Phoebe (Beau Garrett) for advice on navigating the single life at this stage in the game. Judging from the trailer, McCarthy has no problem laying down the law in the realm of post-divorce hooking up.
