New Jason Bourne Spot Reveals the Lie the Government Told

Universal Pictures has released a new Jason Bourne TV spot which reveals the lie the government told to originally recruit Bourne. Check out the TV spot below!

Universal has also announced a special eight-network airing of the original The Bourne Identity will be hosted by Matt Damon, the star of Universal Pictures’ Jason Bourne, beginning on July 16 and continuing through July 24. Damon will also introduce an exclusive sneak preview of Universal’s much-anticipated Jason Bourne, which arrives in theaters on July 29.

Damon will share memories of the film that set a new standard for an entire genre and showcase the debut of an exclusive sneak preview of Jason Bourne, which will run during The Bourne Identity‘s airing on each channel.

This first opportunity to see new footage from the upcoming film will air on July 16 beginning at 8:00 p.m. EDT/8:00 PDT on USA Network, Syfy, Bravo, E! and Esquire Network, and at 11:00 p.m. EDT/8:00 p.m. PDT on NBC UNIVERSO during The Bourne Identity. The following weekend, on July 23 at 8:00 p.m. EDT/8:00 p.m. PDT, the program and footage will air on NBC. The next evening, on July 24 at 6:30 p.m. EDT/6:30 p.m. PDT, The Bourne Identity and special footage will debut on Telemundo. For its part, Telemundo and NBC UNIVERSO will telecast a Spanish language version of The Bourne Identity.

Matt Damon returns to his most iconic role in Jason Bourne. Paul Greengrass, the director of The Bourne Supremacy and The Bourne Ultimatum, once again joins Damon for the next chapter of Universal Pictures’ Bourne franchise, which finds the CIA’s most lethal former operative drawn out of the shadows.

For Jason Bourne, Damon is joined by Alicia Vikander, Vincent Cassel and Tommy Lee Jones, while Julia Stiles reprises her role in the series. Frank Marshall again produces alongside Jeffrey Weiner for Captivate Entertainment, and Greengrass, Damon, Gregory Goodman and Ben Smith also produce. Based on the characters created by Robert Ludlum, the film is written by Greengrass and Christopher Rouse.
