The first trialer for Dan Krauss’ narrative film adaptation of his award-winning 2013 documentary The Kill Team at A24 has landed.
Nat Wolff plays Andrew Briggman, a young soldier in the US invasion of Afghanistan who witnesses other recruits killing innocent civilians under the direction of a sadistic leader, Sergeant Deeks (Alexander Skarsgard).
He considers reporting the issue to higher-ups, but the heavily-armed and increasingly violent platoon becomes suspicious that someone in their ranks has turned on them, and Andrew fears he’s the next target.
The film premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival earlier this year and co-stars Adam Long, Jonathan Whitesell, Brian Marc, Osy Ikhile, Anna Francolini, and Rob Morrow.
The Kill Team comes to your local theater in the Fall.
