Fox Searchlight has revealed the first trailer and poster for My Cousin Rachel, starring Oscar winner Rachel Weisz (The Constant Gardener, The Lobster, The Light Between Oceans).
A dark romance, My Cousin Rachel tells the story of a young Englishman who plots revenge against his mysterious, beautiful cousin, believing that she murdered his guardian. But his feelings become complicated as he finds himself falling under the beguiling spell of her charms. It also stars Sam Claflin (Me Before You), Holliday Grainger (Cinderella), Iain Glen (Game of Thrones), and Pierfrancesco Favino (Marco Polo).
The film is directed by Roger Michell (Notting Hill), who adapted the Daphne Du Maurier novel for the screenplay. It opens in theaters on June 9, 2017.
