Motorola is prepping its own version of a Facebook friendly smartphone. Images of the EX-225, sporting the familiar Facebook button have popped up on the Bluetooth SIG. It is unclear whether the phone will run Qualcomm’s Brew platform, or like HTC’s own take on the concept, the Status, it will be Android-based.

The 3G-capable EX225 will come with a 2.4-inch display, a QWERTY keypad, and a three-megapixel camera. A slightly different model, the EX226, is expected to support dual SIMs and is likely intended for China or other countries where prepaid cellphoens are common. Motorola hasn’t made the phones official and given them pricing or availability information
