Dolly Parton’s Heartstrings, the Netflix anthology series showcasing memories and inspirations behind the country icon’s most beloved songs, has rounded out its cast.

Melissa Leo, Ray McKinnon, Andy Mientus, Katie Stevens and Michael Willett will star in “Two Doors Down,” in which a family’s “lifetime of secrets” comes bursting out during a chaotic but comedic New Year’s Eve wedding weekend. This episode is written by Mark B. Perry and directed by Wendey Stanzler.

Holly Taylor, Shane McGhie, Robert Taylor, Bellamy Young, Camryn Manheim and Mary Lane Haskell star in Down From Dover, in which a pregnant teenager finds support at a home for unwed mothers after being shunned by her father. This story is more complicated by the fact that the man the young woman loves is fighting in the Vietnam War. It was written by John Sacret Young and directed by Erica Dunton.

Patricia Wettig, Timothy Busfield, Virginia Gardner and Tom Brittney star in Sugar Hill, which was written by Thomas Ian Griffith and Mary Page Keller and directed by Lev L. Spiro. The story centers on a married couple in their “twilight” who embarks upon a road trip to the place at which they first fell in love, and along the way they revisit the history of their love story.

Sarah Shahi, Rochelle Aytes, Jessica Collins and Tammy Lynn Michaels star in Cracker Jack from writer Lisa Melamed and director Liesl Tommy. This one is a dual story through two time periods about “the power of unconditional love.” The past storyline focuses on a girl and her dog, while in the present, that same girl, now a woman, question what her life means and who she can truly count on when she is faced with her greatest fear.

Each episode is designed as a standalone story about a specific song, with Parton introducing the meaning behind each at the start. She will also appear in select episodes.

Dolly Parton’s Heartstrings is produced by Magnolia Hill Prods and Sandollar Prods in association with Warner Bros. Television for Netflix. Executive producers include Parton, Sam Haskell and Patrick Sean Smith, who also serves as showrunner.

Previously announced cast includes Julianne Hough, who will star in the titular role in the Jolene episode.
