Microsoft has announced the Touch Mouse Artist Edition. The designer mouse, white with an intricate, calligraphy-like etched motif, was created for Microsoft by typographical artist Deanne Cheuk. The mouse uses Microsoft’s BlueTrack blue-laser technology which the company claims tracks more accurately over more surface conditions than a traditional laser mouse.
The mouse, intended primarily for Windows 7, is equipped with a self-storing nano transceiver that uses RF wireless to save on battery life. It will carry a price of $80. Microsoft has not announced when it will become available other than “soon.”
