Marvel Custom Solutions and the Elks Drug Awareness Program have worked together to create a custom comic tailored to teaching children about underage drinking. HARD CHOICES #1 features Marvel super heroes spreading drug awareness together. In the comic, Spider-Man and the Fantastic Four highlight the problems that can arise as a result of drinking, such as drunk driving, and teach Franklin Richards about the perils of succumbing to peer pressure. Along with being distributed for free to schools across the nation, HARD CHOICES #1 is also free to read online.
The Elks and Marvel Custom Solutions are now in their eighth year of partnering together on the Hard Choices project. Together, they offer schools surveys that give feedback to the program and help keep the program going.
