Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 could be getting a big multiplayer update to go along with the next chapter of the Zombies mode included in the Eclipse DLC.

Rumours of a tenth specialist being added to the game and earned through Supply Drops has surfaced this week, who is apparently based on the Black Market character “BlackJack”.

The new Specialist will allegedly be able to hack others, making them able to gain access to any ability currently on the battlefield.

File Description: “Thief WEAPON_GADGET_THIEF When Blackjack kills an enemy whose Specialist item is active, he gets their Specialist item for himself. WEAPON_GADGET_THIEF_DESC.”

The new information reportedly comes from a leaked audio file, Activision have yet to announce their plans for a tenth Specialist, however.

Actually getting BlackJack could mean collecting a lot of Cryptokeys – alternatively its launch could be part of a special Double Cryptokey weekend event to help fans on their way.

It follows the latest news and trailer surrounding the release of the latest Black Ops 3 Zombies mode chapter, included in the Eclipse DLC.

The Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Zombies Eclipse trailer went live last week, showing off some of the new enemies and locations that players will be able to fight and explore in: Zetsubou No Shima.

The new Zombies chapter will focus on pitting players against dangerous experiments, such as arachnids, and will also see a lot of deformed nature trying to take you down.

Eclipse arrives on PS4 on April 19 and will include four new multiplayer maps — a modern reimagining of the classic Call of Duty: World at War map, Banzai —as well as the next chapter in the Black Ops 3 Zombies saga: Zetsubou No Shima.

It has been confirmed that players will land on the creepy Pacific Island via the boat the Origins characters were seen clinging to in the Eclipse announcement trailer.

The latest Black Ops 3 Double XP Weekend is available tonight until 6pm, UK time, giving fans a last-minute chance to get their levels up for the arrival of Eclipse DLC on PS4.
