liza-weil-gilmore-girlsDon’t worry, “Gilmore Girls” fans — Paris Geller will be returning to Stars Hollow, too. Liza Weil is returning for the upcoming Netflix revival. The “How to Get Away With Murder” star said this weekend that she’ll be reprising her role as Paris, becoming the latest original cast member to confirm a return.

“I start on Tuesday, which I really feel like bodes well that I get to start on a Tuesday being that we used to be on a Tuesday,” she said at the aTVfest in Atlanta. “Tuesday is my first day, and I’m nervous!”

Weil said she’ll be in two episodes of the four-part revival, which takes place over the course of a year, with each episode focusing on a different season.

She’s read only the scripts of the two episodes she’s in. “It’s very emotional to read them,” she said. “It’s like a really magical perfect time machine. I’m very happy to be a part of it.”

“It was like I didn’t realize how much I missed her. It was nice to sort of see an old friend,” Weil added. Netflix declined to comment on the casting on Sunday.

Kelly Bishop, who played Emily Gilmore in the original series, previously said in an interview with Variety sister site TVLine that showrunner Amy Sherman-Palladino had written Paris into the revival, but Weil’s return had not been confirmed at that time.

Original series stars Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel will also be reprising their roles. Sean Gunn (Kirk), Scott Patterson (Luke), Keiko Agena (Lane), Matt Czuchry (Logan) and Yanic Truesdale (Michel) are also confirmed to return.

A premiere date for the “Gilmore Girls” revival has not yet been announced.
