LG Debuts the White Nexus 4 – Same Specs as the Black Version

LG has made the white version of the Nexus 4 official, after months of rumors. Leaked in photographs earlier this month, the white counterpart to the original black Nexus 4 will be going on sale through various markets in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and North America in the next few weeks, starting with Hong Kong on May 29th.

Aside from the external change from a black housing to white, the rest of the Nexus 4 remains exactly the same. The display is still a 4.7-inch 1280×768 True HD IPS+ screen, which is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro running at 1.5GHz with 2GB of RAM. Though LG did not disclose the storage options for the device, it is likely to be the same 8GB and 16GB capacity choices as before, along with an 8-megapixel rear camera, a non-removable 2,100mAh battery, no support for LTE, and a clean install of Android 4.2.

While prices were not offered for the Nexus 4 in white, it is likely to be similar to the existing black variant, and cost around $300 for the 8GB version and $350 for the 16GB model. It has also not yet been confirmed if the white Nexus 4 will be available on Google Play, or if it will be available directly from LG itself.
