Lenovo has launched an update to its Vibe line of Android smartphones, with a new version destined for China. The Vibe Z, also known as the K910, opts for a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor instead of the MediaTek chip used in its predecessor, the Vibe X, all packed behind a 5.5-inch full HD IPS screen.

Measuring 1mm thicker, the Vibe Z offers a Sony IMX135-based 13-megapixel f/1.8 camera with dual LED flash, reports Engadget, with Lenovo claiming it is capable of shooting still images at up to 10 frames per second, and improved low-light noise reduction. It also offers a 5-megapixel wide-angle front-facing camera, dual SIM trays, a flip case with a trackpad, and a battery said to last up to 278.5 hours.

Lenovo will be taking preorders for the Vibe Z soon through its Chinese website, though a price is not yet known. WCDMA+GSM and CDMA2000+GSM models will be launched in China itself, while an LTE+GSM version will also become available for international markets.
