T-Mobile MEtroPCSMetroPCS will soon start to allow customers to use the T-Mobile GSM network instead of the existing CDMA one, according to leaked internal documents. The carrier will be adding two new GSM devices to its catalog in the near future, following its successful merger with T-Mobile, and will start offering a Bring Your Own Phone (BYOP) service for GSM devices.

Training images received by Phone Arena shows the BYOP service as working with unlocked GSM iPhones, Android devices, Windows Phones and “certain feature phones,” but not Blackberry devices. An accompanying URL, while not currently functioning until June 12th, will apparently help prospective customers work out if their device will work.
