Koolance announced a line of rigid tubing compression fittings designed to work with acrylic, PETG and other hard plastic tubing used for liquid cooling. The fittings are offered in two different styles, each available in three different sizes.
Koolance is offering its new rigid tubing compression fittings as straight compression fittings and 90-degree rotary elbow fittings. For each style of fitting, the company offers parts for three different tubing diameters. Rigid tubing fittings are measured by the outer diameter (OD) of the tubing to be used. Koolance offers support for 12mm, 13mm and 16mm OD tubing. All six varieties are designed to attach to G1/4 threads found on all standard PC water cooling components.
Rigid tubing compression fittings seal by squeezing a pair of O-rings between the tubing and the fitting. Koolance engineered its rigid tubing fittings to use three O-rings, which the company said creates a superior seal.
The current release of rigid tubing fittings from Koolance are offered only in black, but the company made a point to note the color in the title, leaving potential for other color releases in the future.
