Jacob Jones 2Liverpool-based Lucid Games will launch its episodic adventure puzzler Jacob Jones and the Bigfoot Mystery this week for PlayStation Vita and iOS, the company announced on Twitter.

Originally it was announced that the release on the Vita and iOS would be simultaneous, but the Vita version will be available today after the PlayStation Store updates and the iOS version will hit this Thursday, according to tweets from the dedicated accounts for the developer and the game. The Vita game will cost $2.99.

Jacob Jones and the Bigfoot Mystery follows young boy Jacob and the happenings during his time at summer camp, where he finds and befriends the Bigfoot of legend. Together the pair embark on a string of adventures, solving puzzles that will test players’ logical, math, lateral thinking and observations skills.

Lucid Games, formed in 2011 by former members of Geometry Wars and Project Gotham Racing studio Bizarre Creations, built Jacob Jones using Unreal Engine 3 and tailored controls for touchscreen devices. While the aesthetic looks cartoony, with vividly colored environments and characters that look like tiny toys, Lucid has stated that story is one for all ages with a “wicked adult undertone.”
