Is Riffle the Pinterest for Books?

Digital marketing firm Odyl, who has been helping big publishers find their audiences on Facebook is now hoping to help the publishers connect in a way that will establish a social channel for book sales.

With that in mind, they are introducing Riffle, which you can think of a something like a “Pinterest for books”. Right off the bat, Riffle gives you several features that may remind you of Pinterest, the current darling of the social media set. Every book has a unique cover, a picture, an image, and with those you create attractive panels of book covers, like some people create attractive pinboards and you seek followers.

You create lists of your favorite books,review them if you like, share them on your social networks and establish connections. The service links to you Facebook profile and funtions through Facebook so that it will grow into recommendation service based on the connections people make there.
