iOS Version of the Syfy Now App Allows Day-Dfter Viewing of Episodes

Syfy network has launched Syfy Now, a new iOS app. The title replaces two earlier apps with a redesigned interface formatted for both iPhones and iPad. The main addition however is support for watching complete episodes, instead of just clips and behind-the-scenes promotional videos. Episodes are normally only available the day after broadcast, though, with access authentication from Cable or Sat  provider.

Some benefits of watching with the app include watchlists, and the ability to sync both lists and in-show progress via iCloud. New Twitter and Facebook code let’s users share episode details.

Syfy Now is a free download and runs on any device with OS 6 or later. A total of 11 cable and satellite providers are supported at the moment, but more are promised in the future.
