Today another five mobile Ivy Bridge processors from Intel are making their way into the history books. The last retirement notice came around mid-July and consisted of mobile Ivy Bridge CPUs along with accompanying chipsets.
The CPUs that are being discontinued are the Core i3-3110M, the Core i3-3120M, the Core i3-3130M, the Core i3-3217U, and the Core i3-3227U. OEMs will still be able to order these CPUs until November 21, while the last shipment will happen no later than May 22. After that you will only be seeing them in leftover inventories of the OEMs themselves.
