Instagram Has Made Sharing Photos from Your iPhone Easier

Instagram has updated its iOS application with an important new feature that will improve the picture-sharing experience.

Instagram version 8.2 enables share extensions, which make it possible to share photos to Instagram from within other apps. Before the extensions were enabled, iOS users had to share directly through the Instagram app. When posting photos to Instagram from other apps users can add a caption, but Instagram’s filters and editing functions are not available.

Instagram also recently changed how it manages users’ feeds. Rather than display photos in chronological order, photos are arranged via algorithms based on what Instagram believes people are most interested in seeing.

Instagram is free to download from iTunes.
