HP has announced the evolution of its PC portfolio, with new Haswell processors. Added to the line are the HP Elite One 800 G1 and ProOne 600 G1 series all-in-one PCs, and the EliteDesk 800 G1 and ProDesk 600 towers and small form factor desktop computers.

The HP EliteOne 800 G1 is HP’s most powerful all-in-one PC, featuring 23 percent thinner design and a full Windows 8 capacitive touch option that features edge-to-edge glass. This new model also includes DTS Studio Sound with an HD webcam for audio and video. The 23-inch display rotates between portrait and landscape orientations, and DisplayPort provides support for up to four additional digital monitors.

The HP Wireless Hotspot application allows for a single Internet connection to be shared with up to five additional devices. In addition, HP’s security protocols can be further bolstered with the optional integrated near-field communications (NFC) for capabilities such as file sharing or optional user authentication.

The HP ProOne 600 G1 is an enterprise-class all-in-one that combines a space-saving form factor with Haswell-level performance. The ProOne 600 G1 has VESA mounting options to reclaim workspace, and its 21.5-inch diagonal display can be joined by up to four additional monitors. As with the HP EliteOne AiO, the HP ProOne AiO can increase security and productivity with integrated NFC for capabilities with Windows 8 such as tap to share.

The HP EliteDesk 800 G1 series delivers reliable performance with customizable deployment options, all backed by a full portfolio of HP security and manageability solutions. Available with Windows 7 or Windows 8 the HP 800 series offers self-encrypting hard drive options, as well as an optional slim, removable hard drive that allows sensitive data to be removed and secured. The new design allows for quick connectivity for companion devices with front-facing USB 3.0.

Three form factors of the EliteDesk 800 G1 have been announced. The HP EliteDesk 800 G1 Tower is an all-new tower form factor with a smaller footprint. It also features an optional legacy PCI slot that ensures broad compatibility with previous technology investments. The HP EliteDesk 800 G1 Small Form Factor features slim-line optical drives. The HP EliteDesk 800 G1 Ultra-slim Desktop is an ultrasmall form factor desktop with three video outputs that can either stand alone or be attached to select HP displays with the optional Integrated Work Center (IWC) providing the space-efficiency of an AiO with the flexibility to change the display.

The HP ProDesk 600 series is available in two different chassis options. The HP ProDesk 600 G1 Tower features the optimal combination of a smaller footprint and with expandability expected from a tower case. The ProDesk 600 G1 Small Form Factor’s compact chassis frees up desk space and helps reduce power consumption with optional power supplies featuring up to 94 percent power efficiency.

The HP EliteOne and EliteDesk 800 G1 series and the HP ProOne and ProDesk 600 G1 series are expected to be available in the United States in June 2013. Pricing for the HP EliteOne G1 800 touch-enabled all-in-one starts at $1,299 and the HP EliteOne G1 800 all-in-one starts at $1,099, while pricing for the HP EliteDesk 800 series starts at $815.
