Still buying into those baseless rumors that Homer and Marge are divorcing next season on The Simpsons? Well, the scuttlebutt is once again being shot down — this time by Homer and Marge themselves.
In a new video released by Fox, Springfield’s reigning king and queen blasted reports that Season 27 would find them going their separate ways. The couple called out CNN for being the chief instigator.
“Homie and I are here to address baseless rumors that we are going to split up,” Marge begins. “The story was first reported on CNN, then the real news started reporting it all over the world… ” Homer later interjects to say, definitively, “Marjorie and I are solid as a rock!”
The pair then start bickering like, well, an old married couple, before taking yet another shot at CNN.
