Hipstamatic’s photo-sharing app Oggl has received an update, offering new features for image viewing and social sharing.
Its new SurfMode feature enables users to view a slideshow of images by turning their device sideways into landscape orientation. SurfMode on AirPlay facilitates viewing the slideshow via Apple TV over a Wi-Fi connection, ideal for group viewing. The app’s newly-added notification ticker provides social information regarding how many “loves” a user has, as well as repost stats and curations one’s photos get, and information from connected accounts such as Instagram Facebook, Flickr and more.
Available on the App Store, Oggl v2.1.0 is free to download and is available by subscription starting at $3 per month.
