Harrison Ford has officially joined the cast of Adam McKay’s Anchorman: The Legend Continues. He joins the returning Will Ferrell, Christina Applegate, Steve Carell, David Koechner and Paul Rudd as well as fellow newcomers Kristen Wiig, James Marsden, Dylan Baker and Meagan Good.
In the sequel to 2004’s Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, Ford’s role is said to be that of an esteemed new anchor, a part somewhat similar to the role he played in 2010’s Morning Glory (as pictured).
He’s also expected to reprise his iconic Han Solo role for J.J. Abrams’ Star Wars: Episode VII.
