An update to Google Maps adds useful details about what’s located along any given route. Using the new Google Maps, travelers can easily find rest stops, restaurants, grocery stores, and gas stations — including gas prices.
The feature is accessible when in navigation mode by pressing the search button. Google will then show what’s available within reasonable distances of the planned trip.
