Gmail Adds Universal Inbox To iOS App

Google today just made Gmail much more useful on iOS devices.

The latest version of Google’s mobile email app now allows users to view more than a single account at a time. Before, users needed to manually switch from one account to another. Now, users can opt to blend their inboxes into a single view, or universal inbox.

Google says the multiple accounts can be a combination of work and personal, G Suite or non-G Suite, and even IMAP email. The new “All Inboxes” view shows all emails in a single list. Google assures that the emails themselves are not shared between accounts.

The new version of Gmail for iOS is free to download from the iTunes App Store
