Today Bandai Namco Asia announced the release date for the Asian version of its upcoming anime game Gintama Ranbu, that in Japan is going to be called Gintama Rumble, will have English subtitles, and will be exclusive for PS4 (the PS Vita version will be coming, but only in Japan). An actual western release has not yet been announced.

The game will launch with the Japanese release on January 18th, and will include a Neo Armstrong Cyclone Jet Armstrong Cannon as Day 1 DLC. To celebrate the announcement we also get the first gameplay trailer that was released in Japan a few days ago, but this time it’s subtitled in English, so everyone can understand what it’s said. It shows how the game is basically a Musou-like title, or if you wanna stay closer to home, it appears very similar to Bandai Namco’s one-vs-army titles like the One Piece series.

As a bonus, you get the title of Spyair’s theme song, which will be “Scramble.” You can check the trailer below, alongside a TV commercial for the Japanese version. If you want to see more, you can also enjoy you can enjoy some 4K images, more screenshots, and the original teaser trailer.
