The actress, whose six-season run on Suits came to an end Wednesday night, is joining the cast of ABC’s The Catch in a top-secret recurring role, TVLine has learned. She’ll debut early into the Shondaland thriller’s second season, which kicks off at midseason.
Regarding her Suits exit, Torres says she asked to be released from the Toronto-based USA Network drama so she could relocate back home to Los Angeles. The Catch shoots in LA BTW.
“Leaving the show was indeed a difficult decision to make,” the actress said in a statement. “However at this time, it is necessary to get back to my life [in Los Angeles] and all the very important things that being on location in Toronto made very difficult to manage.”
