“General Hospital” star Tyler Christopher has come on board as the male lead opposite Jillian Clare in the dark comedy “Pretty Broken.”
Christopher will portray a former cable access TV show star who’s now a self-proclaimed role model for his used car sales team. Preston Bailey, Peter Holden, and Adam Chambers also star. The film is directed by Brett Eichenberger from a script by Jill Remensynder. Producers are Leonian Pictures and Resonance Productions.
Clare portrays an unemployed, college drop-out on the verge of divorce who finds herself couch surfing at her childhood home while her family grieves the death of her father. She fights to keep his memory alive before her mother replaces him with a younger man, portrayed by Christopher.
The production has been on a six-week hiatus. “Pretty Broken” goes back into production on Sept. 8 in Portland, Ore. The project was formerly called “Free for All.”
