Plans are moving forward today on George Clooney’s next project as Deadline reports that Josh Brolin, Matt Damon and Julianne Moore are in negotiations to join the Suburbicon cast. An original script by Joel and Ethan Coen, Suburbicon has been eyed by Clooney as a directing project for more than a decade. Recently, the project was set up at Sony’s TriStar Pictures.

Previously described as “a noir drama in the vein of the Coens’ breakout film ‘Blood Simple,’” Suburbicon is reportedly set in the 1950s. Assuming his plans haven’t changed, Clooney will also play a part in the film.

Beware of spoilers reading forward, however, as Clooney revealed his Suburbicon character’s fate during a 2008 interview with MTV.

“There’s nothing to explain what it is except that it’s a Coen brothers film,” said Clooney who, at the time, thought that the sibling pair would direct. “So it’s insane. I get clubbed to death with a tire iron. It made me laugh.”

Brolin, Damon and Moore have all worked with the Coens at least once. Moore starred in The Big Lebowski, Damon in True Grit, and Brolin in both True Grit and No Country for Old Men. He’s also slated to star alongside Clooney in the Coens’ upcoming Hail, Caesar! Set for release on February 5, 2016, Hail, Caesar! also stars Alden Ehrenreich, Ralph Fiennes, Jonah Hill, Scarlett Johansson, Frances McDormand, Tilda Swinton and Channing Tatum.

As a director, Clooney most recently helmed the 2014 World War II drama The Monuments Men (which also starred Damon). As an actor, he was recently seen in Brad Bird’s Tomorrowland
