Genius has added two RF wireless mice to its lineup, the Traveler 6000 Wireless Mouse and the the Traveler 6000 Classic Wireless Mouse, now available in the US and Canada. The two models are identical with one difference: the Classic model features a styled black top cover design, whereas the regular model sports solid color cover in Diamond Black, Royal Blue or Ruby Rose.

Both feature a 1200dpi optical engine for smooth, accurate mousing and a design that works with with either hand. It connects to host computers using an extremely small “pico” USB RF receiver (2.4GHz). The mouse itself also features a storage compartment for the pico receiver when not in use, and an on/off switch for saving battery power, making both models ideal for portable and traveling use. Both models require only a single AAA battery (and one is included in the packaging).

The Traveler 6000 series wireless mice require either Mac OS X 10.4 or higher or Windows XP or later. The manufacturer’s suggested retail price is $15 for the Traveler 6000 Wireless, and $17 for the Traveler 6000 Classic Wireless.
