PSN Maintenance

Millions of PS4 players hoping to hop into the newly released Battlefield 1 seem to be out of luck this morning, as is anyone hoping for some futuristic combat in the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare beta.

Two of the biggest shooters out there may have been too much for PSN, and it appears that people all across social media are reporting problems logging onto Sony’s online service. The official
Playstation Network status page currently lists Playstation Store as having issues, but I’ve been unable to access any online services at all, and many across the Internet appear to be experiencing the same problem. It is likely that this is related to a massive attack on DNS host Dyn, which is causing outages in all sorts of servers all over the world.

There are also reports of broader internet problems throughout the east coast, and this could be related if some of the servers have been effected.
